Can I extend my visa exempt stamp at Chamchuri Building or do I need to go to Chaengwattana?

Good morning, my husband and I are currently in Bangkok visiting our son who lives here. We both have visa exempt stamps for this trip. We would like to stay for one additional week, and we are aware of the extension that exempt stamps can get for 1900 baht. Is it possible to do this at the chamchuri building ? Or do we need to go to chaengwattana ? We are both British.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post asks about extending a visa exempt stamp in Thailand. The general consensus in the comments indicates that the extension should be carried out at the Muang Thong Thani immigration office, specifically at Counter K. The Chamchuri Building is indicated to be for BOI companies and not for tourists. Users are advised to book appointments in advance due to upcoming closures of immigration offices and potential busyness.

we did ours at Muang thong Thani. We filled in the forms (TM7) before going, had the passport pic and copies of passport photo page, stamp and your white TM6 you filled on arrival. Went smoothly.

I found the TM7 form a little confusing but there's lots of examples on the Internet.

Karen Weaver. If you're using public transport, go to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS station and get a cab from the roundabout.

Visa exempt is handled at Counter K, which is at a different location:

Keep in mind immigration offices will be closed on April 6, 13, 14, 15, which will cause other days in the next two weeks to be very busy, possibly chaotic, at the Bangkok offices. Get in early to do the extension and make an appointment if you can
