Hi, I have visited Thailand from 20 of nov 2019 entering the country with an exemption of visa of 1 month.

I have then asked for visa extension in Koh Samui and had it until the 20 of January.

I left to Vietnam for 2 weeks on the 20th of January and entered again in Thailand on the 30th of January with a new exemption of visa until the 28th of February.

I would like to know if I can ask for a visa extension in Koh Samui again ?

Thanks a lot

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring if they can apply for a visa extension in Koh Samui after re-entering Thailand with a visa exemption. Multiple comments confirm that it is possible to apply for a 30-day visa extension at local immigration, with a fee of 1,900 THB.

Yes you can ask for an extension of 30 days at local Thai Immigration. 1,900 Thai baht.

Yes. You can get one 30 day visa extension on every visa exempt entry.

You can also get two visa exempts in a calendar year by land (if you are from a visa exempt country).

A visa exempt country can be found on this page here.

When you go to the local immigration office, just give them 1,900THB, and you'll get your 30 day extension.
