Can I extend my medical visa in Thailand for more than 30 days if I'm unable to travel?

I have a medical visa and was told from the immigration that I can get a further extension of 30 days.

If it's difficult for me to fly, is there any chance that I could be given an exception and get a longer extension?

Does anyone know??๐Ÿ™

You would need a letter from your doctor stating you are not fit to travel. The hospital usually have a dept who can handle this for you.
