I am in Chiang Mai, I have already extended my 30 Arrival Visa for 30 days at immigration. I broke my foot yesterday and am wondering if I can get a medical extension with the Doctors diagnosis of 90 days of treatment.  I am supposed to leave by December 10th and have a flight scheduled to DaNang on the 8th but would rather not go if I don't have to.

you have to ask your doctor to write the letter that you are unable to travel for an xxx period. With that letter you visit your immigration office and apply for an Extension of Stay for medical reasons and immigration will give you the Extension of Stay until the date the doctor advice with a maximum of 90 days or they will send you to another doctor for a second opinion before they make their decision.
