Hi, we are currently on a 3 months visa that ends in about a month. we were planning to do a visa exempt through Ranang (we are a family of 4 from Israel) unfortunately my wife has a medical issue in which she can't drive/fly more than 30 minutes, we have a doctor approval from the hospital here. So we probably cant do the visa run...what do we do in such a situation? is there a way of extending her stay without her leaving the country? thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A family currently on a 3-month visa in Thailand faces a dilemma due to a medical issue preventing one member from traveling for a visa run. They are seeking advice on how to extend their stay without leaving the country. Comments suggest consulting immigration authorities and mention that a doctor’s note can potentially allow for a visa extension based on the severity of the travel restriction.

If the doctor's note stipulates that she can not travel, then she could get an extension in country up to 90 days, depending on how long the note says.
