Hi, I am from Bangladesh. I entered Thailand with a tourist visa of 2 month which will expire on 15 March. During my visit I had a doctor appointment at Bangkok Hospital. They suggested one operation. If I get a recommendation from hospital to extend my visa for operation, will it be possible to extend my visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Bangladeshi national with a tourist visa in Thailand is seeking to extend their visa for medical reasons, specifically for an operation recommended by a hospital. Upon receiving proper documentation from the treating doctor or hospital, they can apply for a visa extension at the immigration office. Extensions for medical reasons can be granted for 30 to 90 days, costing 1900 baht, and must be applied for before the current visa expires.

the treating doctor or the hospital provide the documentation to take to the immigration office and apply for an extension based on medical reasons. They can be issued from 30-90 days and cost 1900baht.

You have to do it before you run out of time (you can't apply for one on overstay)

Get the documentation from your doc/hospital and go to the immigration office in your area and apply.
