TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your 60-day visa by 30 days if you are married to a Thai citizen, but getting a marriage visa is recommended for longer stays. You can apply for a family-related extension. Bring your spouse along, and ensure you have all necessary paperwork to facilitate the extension. However, being married does not automatically grant visa privileges; it's essential to follow the correct procedures for extending your visa.
In theory yes but some Immigration Offices will not issue the 60 day Visit Thai Family extension on a tourism entry stamp and others will only issue this if the 30 day tourism extension is taken first. The answer is the OP qualifies for a Non-O marriage visa which gives the required 90 days on entry so Immigratrion will be pushing more in this direction now.
when I went to extend my 30 days earlier this year the IO told me to come find her 2 days before extension expires and she gave me another 60 days without leaving the country because I have Thai wife and all documents
