TLDR : Answer Summary
Expats married to a Thai can apply for a 60-day extension for family reasons, which may be followed by another 30-day extension. However, it’s crucial to obtain the proper marriage visa to ensure compliance with Thai immigration laws. Merely being married does not inherently change visa rules, thus it is recommended to have all necessary documentation ready.

In theory yes but some Immigration Offices will not issue the 60 day Visit Thai Family extension on a tourism entry stamp and others will only issue this if the 30 day tourism extension is taken first. The answer is the OP qualifies for a Non-O marriage visa which gives the required 90 days on entry so Immigratrion will be pushing more in this direction now.
when I went to extend my 30 days earlier this year the IO told me to come find her 2 days before extension expires and she gave me another 60 days without leaving the country because I have Thai wife and all documents
