Hi guys, happy new year!

I arrived on a TR visa and will be going to my local immigration in nong khai to apply for 30 days extension shortly.

Am I correct in thinking that as I am married to a thai , my tm 30 is filed at her address, I can apply for a 60 days extension ?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about applying for a 60-day visa extension while on a TR visa, noting their marriage to a Thai citizen and that their TM30 is registered at their spouse's address. A commenter confirmed that they are eligible to apply for a 60-day extension based on family ties but emphasized that additional documentation is required, including a copy of the marriage certificate, the house registration book, and the wife's ID. They suggested contacting the Immigration Office for a complete list of requirements.

As you are married you can apply for the 60 day Extension of Stay based on visiting family, but there is more needed that just an address registration.

Most offices also need:

Copy marriage certificate

Copy house book wife

Copy ID from wife

some also ask Copy Kor Ror 2 as proof marriage is still on.

Call or ask your wife to call the Immigration Office for the list with requirements.
