Does anyone know if I can extend my Thai visa exemption (60 days) in the Trang immigration office? I don't really want to go up to BKK. If I can, what do I need for this, and how far in advance can I extend it? thanks

If you have a TM30 address registration filed with the Trang Thai Immigration office, then you should be able to obtain the 30 day extension of stay.

A bit confused by your mention of the 60 days... ??? That must be the Visa Exempt Entry 60 days STAMP you received when you entered Thailand.

it's the registration filed with Thai Immigration by the owner of the house you are staying in... suggest you and the House owner visit the Thai Immigration office and ask them for their requirements for the TM 30 filing.
