would there be an issue with renewing your marriage visa in a different province from where you are residing at? Chiang rai immigration has plenty of appointments available for marriage visa but Chiang Mai doesn’t have any available for marriage visa renewal.

You renew your visa where your TM30 is filed and where you reside. Quite often they will want to do a house visit (some do via line/skype) to check things.

You don’t have a 30 days visa. You did a visa-exempt entry and got stamped 30-days “admitted stay”

You can get the stay permit extended by 30 more days once, for 1900.- THB on an Immigration office which serves the area where you are TM30 registered in an accommodation
