Hello everyone,I'm hoping someone can help me with something. My son is on a education visa and I'm trying to find out whether that means one of parents has to be on a guardian visa or can I be on say a education or combat visa? I applied for my guardian visa but am wondering if I can apply for a different one instead of renewing it. Any help is appreciated. TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about visa options related to their son's education visa, specifically whether they must remain on a guardian visa or if they can switch to another type of visa. Responses indicate that as long as visa requirements are met, they can choose a different visa. Clarifications are made regarding the type of guardian visa currently held and the financial requirements to secure an extension.

You say your current guardian visa is valid until Oct 31, BUT what do you mean by a guardian visa.
Do you mean you got a 90 day single entry Non-O visa from a thai consulate BEFORE you came here and that 90 day stamp expires then
OR
DO you mean an extension of stay based on taking care of a foreign child here (that required proof of 500K baht in a thai bank account) and that you got from the immigration office expires then?
