Admin, permission to post and thnaks for your time.

I am looking for some help in the likely scenario that I will be running in. I have been working in Thailand for a while and am now planning to move to another country. My wife and son are on dependent visas and I wanted them to stay here until my son completed his 2022-2023 academic year, but without my work permit and visa, they may not be granted a visa to stay here. Any suggestion that would allow them to stay here until my son completed his studies would be appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks help regarding visa options for their wife and son, who are on dependent visas, allowing them to remain in Thailand while their son completes the 2022-2023 academic year. Suggestions from the community include transitioning to an education visa for the son and potentially securing a guardian visa for the wife, which could involve financial requirements.

Can your son get an Education visa/extension and then Mum can stay as his dependant?

Are you moving out of Thailand?

If your son is in school in Thailand he may be able to get an education visa.

Then your wife could get a guardian visa based on a child attending school, but that requires her to have 400,000₿ in a bank account.
