Hi everyone,please help me with some advice.

I am holding a guardian visa for the last five years now, and Feb.23,2018 will be my last visa! Unfortunately, I can't have a guardian visa anymore as my daughter is turning 18 yrs.of age, so this means that I have to look for another option to stay in the Kindom longer.As my daughter is going to University here in Bkk for another four more yrs

What type of visa should I apply for?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about alternative visa options after their guardian visa expires as their child is turning 18 and can no longer be a reason for a visa extension. Various commenters clarify that the age limit for a guardian visa actually extends to 20 years, as per Thai immigration laws. They emphasize that in order to qualify for an extension based on being a parent, the child must live with the parent. Additionally, they mention clauses in the immigration rules that relate to dependent extensions based on the child's residency status.

The current Immigration rules are Police Order
********
and the clause that covers you getting a dependent extension based on a child would be

If your daughter is thai Clause 2.18 and if your daughter is a foreigner (meaning she has a visa to stay here) Clause 2.19.

Uh-Oh :/ In reading the regulation there is a caveat though;

the child must live with you in order for you to get the extension based on being their parent. If they're gonna live somewhere else you can't use them to get an extension. :(

@Robert ******
is correct and you can have a visa to look after a child of yours until the child turns 20 years old.

I dunno who told you it's 18 because it's not..

Not sure where the 18 years info came from but according Immigration website it is 20 years of age: (4) In the case of children, adopted children, or spouseā€™s children, said children, adopted children,

and spouseā€™s children must not be married, must live with the alien as part of the family, and must not be over 20 years of age.
