I’m applying for an education visa for my 15 year old step son (son of my wife). Got an international school lined up.
I’ll be applying for a Non immigrant B work visa and work permit and wife is eligible for a non immigrant O visa as a dependant of mine.
My question is does the 15 year old student require to have a parent on a guardian visa or can my wife be on the non O visa?
The non 0 visa would be a better option for us.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is applying for a Non-B work visa while his wife qualifies for a Non-O visa as his dependent. He inquires whether their 15-year-old son must have a guardian visa or if he can stay with his mother's Non-O status. Responses indicate that the stepson only needs his own visa, and that he may also be eligible for a dependent visa.
