TLDR : Answer Summary
This conversation discusses other locations besides Penang that issue 1-year multiple-entry Non-B visas. Notably, Myanmar is mentioned as a viable option, specifically referring to Yangon and Kota Bharu in Malaysia. Detailed documentation and processes for obtaining the Non-B visa from Myanmar are shared, indicating that applicants need various business-related documents both from Myanmar and Thailand to successfully apply.

I've just realised how useless this will be to most people because it does seem reliant on having a company in Myanmar (which I do)

ahhh, sorry about that :/ Thanx anyway :)

The list is a bit scrawled on with my notes so I'll type it out rather than take a photo.

Business Multiple Entry (Non-Immigrant)

From Myanmar Side

1. Passport copy

2. Business Multiple Visa Request Letter (to specify why the applicant needs multiple entry)

3. Business Profile

4. Company Registration

5. Company Form 6 / 26

6. Bio-Data of the Applicant (resume)

7. Bank Account copy

From Thai Side

1. Recommendation Letter from Thai Business Counterpart (they actually gave me an example to take away but I later learned that this was actually a real person's actual document, needed for their application, not just a copy of a fake example - I still have it, so can send a photo privately)

2. Thai Company Registration copy (Date updated)

3. Copy of ID card certified true copy with signature & date (who recommend for the applicant)

4. Tax payment

5. Company photos & Company map

*200 USD, 1 year valid, not exceeding 90 days for each stay in Thailand

Typing that out has brought back all the stress 😂 Looking at this list I can't actually believe I managed to get all this together!

you got a year-long, multi-entry Non-B in Yangon. Can you provide any input as far as what documentation was required, how the process was, etc?

I will take a photo of the document requirement list and post here later, it's at home and I'm at work right now.

It appears that the O/P and I got off on the wrong foot :O

I will open up the commenting in case any one has input on getting a year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa from a thai consulate nearby OTHER than Penang :)

Yangon Myanmar will issue it with the same requirements as Penang I believe

Non B for what purpose ?

Warren Botwood It's totally relevant which is why I asked :O they issue Non-B visas for FOUR different reasons and AFAIK: only ONE can get the year long multi-entry and that's the managing director, 20% shareholder one.

NOTE I edited out the derisive term to better reflect the spirit of the group and it's desire to be helpful. :P

Relevance is that for a Non B for teaching you don't get a 1 year visa at all in this region.
