Hi everyone just back from Penang and received my one year multiple entry non-b Visa without any issues. The consulate there still issues these type of visas, despite some reports saying they don't.

Did you use an agency? If not how long did it take to submit and pick up your visa?

Embassy is a bit out of the way, but uber and grab is everywhere, cheap and legal! We stayed in Batu Ferrenghi, a bit out of the way for a visa run, would stick to Georgetown for sure.

Great, thanks. I plan on going there next month for my non-imm B visa.

Any other tips or advice? Where to stay, things to do, etc.

Hi Eric. No. Did it myself. Dropped it off 11am, picked up 2pm the next day. I would have used an agency to save time and do a bit of touring, but had nothing else to do.

They dont require bank statements or finances for a non imm b visa. The point here is this guy got multi entry visa as opposed to a single entry.

Hi Elani. No they didn't. But need to note that this is not a requirement for this type of visa.

im thinking that is for business visit, not employment? If that is the case then you need to show you currently live in Malaysia.

Wasn't difficult at all. Though I had all my documents, have a work permit. Paid the MYR 750. Perhaps others didnt have all their paperwork in order?
