Are DTV visa applications affected by agents and embassy practices in Thailand?

I suspect embassies from some locations have started “the deal” with the agents in terms of visa applications, and you will not get your DTV visa by yourself. It is kind of mafia thing and some of you guys from First World countries will not understand it. There is a system taking place and I am saying this for you to pay attention on where you are applying. I just got stamped my visa now and it is until 28 May. They started counting from the date the visa is issued.

nothing is wrong with my visa. I wanted to say some embassies at certain locations are a bit complicated with applications.

Knowing how Government Departments (and employees) operate I wouldn’t be surprised if the staff become increasingly resistant to issuing this new and popular Visa. Especially if extra staff and financial rewards haven’t been provided.

Know 2 embassies with agent deals. Each of them still give DTV to applicants without the agent. To stop doing so would make it so obvious it would be stopped. To be fair they are not exactly prime postings for the ambitious Diplomat:-)
