What is your experience with Mumbai/Delhi consulate after applying for DTV Visa? 

I’m planning to apply soon from the Mumbai consulate, and I’m seeing a few post’s about Mumbai consulate rejecting freelancer’s application. I work as a freelance motion designer, and I meet all the criteria. Is New-Delhi Consulate any better? Not sure if someone living in the Maharashtra jurisdiction can apply from the New Delhi consulate. If someone has experience or doing the same, let me know!

I applied last year from Mumbai consulate, beginning of November, they asked for additional documents such as Degree copy, Portfolio and finally called for the interview. I got my DTV just after the interview.

I believe, You cannot apply from New Delhi, if your passport has Maharashtra address.
