Employment certificate requesting DTV visa with official seal and signature. Lease agreement or hotel reservation (for SK or Thailand I don’t know so I submitted both).

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen successfully applied for a DTV visa at the Thai Embassy in Seoul despite initial doubts about the requirement for South Korean residency. The applicant paid 400,000 KRW ($275) and submitted necessary documents, including proof of funds, a resume, a certificate of income, and accommodation details. The experience suggests that non-residents of South Korea can apply for this visa at the embassy.
