How long does it take to process a DTV visa application at a Cambodian embassy, and can I apply from Thailand?

I applied for my DTV visa online at the Cambodian embassy in Phnom Penh on October 22 at 11 AM, the same day they announced it would take 10 working days to process. I received it on October 30 at 11:21 PM. In total, it took 9 calendar days, including 6 working days and 3 holidays.

Here's my list of submitted documents:

Professional CV

Recommendation letters from two companies

Company registration documents for both companies

Pay slips from both companies

One-month Thai bank statement (account with minimal activity, deposit made on October 20)

Employee Contract From Both Companies .

Can I just walk into the Thai embassy in a different country and give them all required documents in person? or do have to apply online ?( in a country other than Thailand)

You can walk into embassies which accept in person applications. Some require no appointment, others you need to make one before walking in. Taipei and Jakarta are walk in but will move soon to Evisa. Manilla is walk in. Yangon, Laos appointment needed.

Hello. If I apply online to the Cambodian embassy, do I have to travel to Cambodia and then apply?

Right now I'm in Thailand without a visa.

I'm thinking of applying online in Thailand, then traveling to Cambodia and entering Thailand from Cambodia, but is that okay?

If not, I have to travel to Cambodia first and then apply for the online visa. I heard it takes a long time for the visa to be granted.

You have to go out of thailand to apply evisa. If not, you cant get any visa. When you fill the application form for evisa, the will ask you a proof of outside thailand

m filling out the form now, but how do I prove it?

I'm renting a house in Cambodia, so I can provide proof.

What I'm trying to say is, can't I go to Cambodia after my application has been approved? Thank you.

The will ask you the arrival visa stamp pf cambodia. If you cant show that or if you are in thailand when waiting the approval , the will reject it.

The answer is No

匿名参加者 Thank you for the great information. That's great.

Is that required as additional documentation? (I couldn't find it on the online form.)

In that case, I'll have to stay in Cambodia for more than 11 days.

What flight number did you write? Do you think I'll be able to make it if the flight is 11 days after I enter the country?

It is not sure! Buying return tickets when you get visa or around between 14 days is safe.

In online application form, there is one sentence " Document indicating current location" and you have to show your cambodia stamp at this button.

匿名参加者 I also think it's best to book a flight after getting your visa. However, in that case, how should I write the flight number on the form?
Yoshitaka **********
I want to know this too

Thank you

Yeah this point also. Please go out to the country and try this.

This is what the embassy asked from me

Is it not okay for the "Document indicating current location" to be a document for a property in Cambodia?

I thought it was a document that shows you are in Cambodia (real estate document) rather than an entry stamp lol

You can show it. But you need to think about Plan B if you don't want to miss your visa.

匿名参加者 So, it would be a good idea to enter Cambodia after I apply just to be safe. (Even if I submit it at a property in Cambodia)

Enter Cambodia and apply. Must apply outside of Thailand. Takes 10 business days to get the DTV in Cambodia, can be quicker. It is ok to use your house in Cambodia as current address
