I recently submitted my DTV application and realized i made a typo in my cover letter and mentioned in it that have been working for the company since 2022 when it should have been 2023, am i screwed?
I have attached my work contract which specifically says my initial employment was 2023 and later contract renewal dates.
Cover letter was attached with proof of location documents and the work contract is separate.
So am i f*cked because of this typo? Everything else was perfect

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community responded to a concern regarding a typo in a cover letter for a DTV visa application, where the applicant mistakenly stated their employment start year as 2022 instead of 2023. Input from commenters suggests that such a typo is unlikely to cause significant problems, especially since the applicant provided a work contract that verifies the correct date. Suggestions included contacting the embassy to correct the error directly.
Apart from giving an opinion ( at worst case they will ask you why the discrepancy+ ask you to correct it), why don't you just email or call the embassy ? Tell them you messed up and send them a new cover letter with the corrections. They can't fault you for trying to correct a mistake... When I submitted my documents, I had a few friendly with a lot of "kaaaaa" back and forth with the staff to provide additional info and all went well...
