Will applying for a DTV after working remotely on a tourist visa be an issue in Thailand?

So I have been in Thailand for the past few months on a standard tourist visa and am now going to apply for the dtv.

The only problem is that I have been doing some remote work during this time… and in order to get the dtv I need to send contracts of employment to prove I have been working… while my passport stamps indicate I have been in Thailand on a tourist visa….

💀💀💀

Will this be an issue or is it all forgive and forget now I am trying to do it the correct way 😅?

Somebody please let me know if they have expirienced this !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) after working remotely while on a tourist visa in Thailand. They are concerned about needing to provide employment contracts for the DTV application, as their passport indicates they were on a tourist visa during their remote work period. Commenters warn about potential issues if any clients are Thai entities and note that the DTV application might be rejected as long as the tourist visa is valid.

If none of your clients are Thai persons or entities then you should be fine.
