Will my employment contract pose a problem if it doesn't state that I work remotely for my DTV application in Thailand?

Question on remote work contract statement:

Hi all, i am about to apply for my DTV with all the requirements met, however, my employment contract does not specifically state that i work remotely, however, as i work for a global organisation that has offices all over the world, my contract states a "workplace" with the local office address in my current location, however i work fully remote across 3 global regions. Would this pose a problem for my application, or can I simply type up a "letter of motivation" stating the remote nature of my work? (Self signed). Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand due to their employment contract not explicitly stating that they work remotely. They ask if a self-signed letter of motivation would suffice. Comments suggest obtaining a formal letter from their boss or HR, specifically mentioning the ability to work remotely and indicating Thailand. It's important that this letter is on company letterhead and signed for it to be credible.

John *******
You need the letter to say “remote”. Better if you can get it to say “Thailand”. Also have it signed by HR
Greg ********
Get a letter from boss or HR on company headed paper saying you can work remotely and explicitly state Thailand. If your company has an office location in Thailand do not mention it.
Michael *******
Get a paper signed from your boss, not self signed
