I just came in on a 30 day visa a few days ago from USA. They asked me to write the name of my accommodation on the form as I had accidentally omitted it. They immediately stamped my visa with no questions. My wife came in a few hours before me as an Indian on a 15 day and she was grilled as they scrutinized each proof of accommodation for the 4 places we will be staying. So I’d say it depends on 1. What country you’re from and 2. The whim of the inspector

So we just left Krabi Immigration with a 7 day extension for 2000 THB. They were very courteous and helpful. I saw they had mostly 5-star reviews on google-a pleasant surprise for a government operation. Kudos! 👍🏼👍🏼
