I am a solo traveller and was walking down back alleys at night. Felt totally safe. I was walking every where but it was hot. Not sure there was a lot for kids to do.

Nothing to do with the Thai visa but get a e-visa for Loas and a hotel near the night food market!

basically you get a visa exemption and before it expires pop down to the immigration office complete the documents and slap 1900 baht on the table you have an extension. Before it expires, leave or you will over stay an get a black jack on your file.

At the moment things are a bit in the air. You can leave and return and get another visa exempt. It's called a border bounce. But that is not the intention of an exempt visa . So you are at the mercy of the IO. People have been denied entry.

There are no stupid questions just stupid answers. Like you I find it a bit of a mine field.

Yep, turn up and get a visa exemption which can be extended one time.

As for another visa type you will need to go to the official web site.

Supporting those who abuse the system then claiming you do not is an odd stance. Their abuse will affect you.

clearly you have a problem with Thailand so do not go there. Stay at home with your limited circle of friends

I do not have a problem with Thailand or its rules. The problem is that the rules Thailand imposes are always to address the abuses of minoriries like you but affect the majority that abide by them.

My problem is with people like you who think Thailand should be run like their own counties.

wealthy travel to many countries not just one. Someone entering a country multiple times in two to three years soley on a tourist visa is most likely working here, not disclosing that fact and evading taxes.

if you do not see a problem with multiple "tourists" visa over a sustained period then you are the problem. Tourist do not stay in one country for thst period. It would appear they may have some form of business.

So why are you in Thailand.
