did not say law, you did. The clue is in the word "tourist". Tourists visit for pleasure but I suspect many for business.

I know why. But the problem of border runs still exists. It may be only a matter of time before a serious clamp down is done. When people on this page ask if you can make multiple runs you know they are up to something and it is probably against the law. They abuse Thai hospitality.

What happens after the 12 months extention. Can I extended again or donI have to apply for another O visa. Plans are simple. Married to a Thai and spend Dec to Apr in Thailand only

So you have been in Thailand 240 days on visa exempt. That is not the actions of a tourist. Also that will be the reason they will cancel the 60 day visa exempt.

the problem being, and it can been seen on this Facebook page, there is an endless stream of people that abuse the exempt visa scheme. That abuse by a few eventually affects everyone.

My Lloyds Bank declined payments made to booking dot com because an increase in fraudulant activity. They blocked the card.

Contact the supplier of the card and ask.
