Will the Amnesty tourist visa in Thailand be extended past December 30, and what are the extension requirements?

Thanks. In our case, we booked online for an appointment in Bangkok at counter K1 Muangthongthani. This was the second extension as it was expiring December 30. It was quick to process (we did it yesterday ) but we needed to prepare some printouts to show there are no direct flights and showing that we tried contacting the embassy. They didn’t ask any questions, just had to pay 1900 Baht and the passport was returned in 5 minutes. We have to go back to get stamp for the visa in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we can get 60 days more.
