it's just a ridiculous requirement ...in 50 years of travelling I was never asked for onward ticket ..everyone can afford at least a $ 10 bus ticket out of the country

shouldn't be up to the airline to decide if u need onward ticket ....it needs to be an immigration requirement and should make it known that it is a requisite requirement . Nothing more annoying than getting to check in to be told u need an onward ticket 😩

yes. Vietjet wouldn't let me board at Bangkok without an onward ticket out of Vietnam ...very annoying and frustrating ...I've been to Vietnam over thirty times in the last 10 years and this was the first time it happened . Maybe a requirement after the new visa changes in August. Ive been told it's not an immigration requirement but I'm not sure
