I'm at immigration now to cancel the visa, cause I'm flying out of Bangkok in two days, the work permit should be dated today, since it was cancelled today I guess, I didn't understand what you meant about getting the denied stamp? and would it be cheaper to pay 2 days overstay over extending the visa for 7 days?

yes, legally the visa is cancelled the day the work permit is cancelled, but if I leave on the visa before the work permit is cancelled then the visa should be cancelled automatically upon exit?
