I should have asked the question before we booked our tickets. Haha! We had friends have a hard time in Vientiane and it was easy for them in KL. This is why we chose KL. And at Immigration, they told my husband he could do it within the country but as the dependent, I will have to leave the country. So we will do it together in KL. But I like your point Tod about “or” being used in the checklist. Thank you soooo much for your help. I really appreciate it!

And somewhere else, I read that the medical certificate must come from the country you are applying from. But again, I haven’t heard that enforced yet.

Thank you. I did look at this. On the first checklist page, under qualifications at the top, it says “Have no criminal record against the security of Thailand and the applicant’s country of origin.” I haven’t heard of anyone needing that yet but I wanted to make sure.
