What steps did you take to get your DTV Visa approved while applying from Phu Quoc, Vietnam?

I got somewhat similar requests, also form the HCMC office. Applied on Wednesday 12th and on the following Friday received a request for additional documents.

- Business registration documents from my two current clients.

- Company profile for each one.

- A fresh bank statement with all my work income highlighted over the past 6 months.

- Time stamped pictures of every passport page.

- Income tax documents for the past 2 years.

- CV and portfolio.

Submitted all that at the start of this week and I’m still waiting. The application changed to ‘pending approval’ on Wednesday, so I was hoping to have it by today.

Even though they didn’t ask, I also provided details of some rental property income I’ve got coming in. I assumed it’d help my case to show that I’ve got reliable backup income. But it also may be slowing things down as it gives them something non-standard to read over and check.
