I was sent a medical visa offer from a border run agency I used in the past.
“User of the amnesty and not plan to depart Thailand before 31st July? Can get you a medical extension for 60days=thb
*****
or 90days=thb
*****
within 25th July”
I enquired for more information out of curiosity and asked if LASIK eye surgery would be eligible since I plan to do this anyway and they said I won’t get asked what medical I get in Thailand and it wasn’t required for their application. Maybe I underestimated what a bit of cash can do or maybe I’m right to be skeptical 🤨
Thanks Andy, I've been learning the basics. I think a structured program and the pressure of getting questioned at Thai immigration will help speed things along
I appreciate the advice and yes, I was getting a bit desperate. I'll sit tight for now. My reasoning was if I do end up having to leave, I would be sitting in the UK willing to pay more to return
Yes, that's what they told me. My visa will be processed with Hua Hin not Bangkok. It's a bit pricey, 12,500 for the application + 14,500 for the visa conversion at immigration with no guarantee but I guess this is a convenience fee of not having to leave the country. Did you go ahead with them or were you just enquiring?
