Ok, Thanks for the explanation! So leaving Thailand for a few days beginning of februari shouldn't be a problem with a single re-entry on the under consideration stamp.

Last question, The under consideration stamp in Chiang Mai, is it also valid for 30 days, even if you apply for the extension 45 days before the current stamp off the non-o expires? For example, I apply for the extension on /23, then I get the actual extension starting /23? Even when the non-O would normally be still valid till /23.

Ofcourse I will not plan everything till the day, and give myself some room. Just trying to understand how it works.
