We’ve been traveling SEA for a couple months and we weren’t sure how long exactly we wanted to stay when we arrived (still figuring it out) so we ended up just doing the 30 day.
If I extend my visa for 30 days before the end of 2017 (i.e. Dec 23rd), does that impact the time I can spend in Thailand for 2018? I believe it goes by calendar year... so if I got stamped in Dec 23, 2017, does 2018 take a hit because my visit rolled over into the following calendar year?
Lastly, can I go to the immigration office at the airport? Or, do I have to go to the office east of the river? I know you use to be able to go to the airport.
