mae sai border closed yesterday. idk for how long. i got denied there with a valid e-visa. some borders were still open as of yesterday but they seemed to be closing soon and might already be. i got over the laos border yesterday receiving a visa on arrival for laos at chiang khong. i re-entered thailand with my valid thai multiple entry tourist visa a few hours later

no clue if it will stay open in the coming days or not..

chiang khong worked for me today at 19:00. i got a visa on arrival to laos, and it seemed like we were supposed to go to the market for a bit. i guess they dont love to make it seem like a border bounce? idk. but with my preexisting METV i got back into thailand 2 hrs later. note that one immigration officer said we couldnt do it, but another said we could. i THINK this was because i expressed it was for a border bounce initially? the process was a bit confusing but smooth

can anyone confirm that the ONLY thing necessary to get into burma at this time over mae sai boder is burma e-visa and valid passport? there is no need for a health certificate? I am immediately going back to thailand. can you also confirm if there is anything extra to get back into thailand after? health certificate? proof of outgoing flight? proof of insurance or income? thanks!
