 You are not even in Thailand at the moment. A travel agent working since 2006 told me today that the whole amnesty thing is you got until 31 july to leave. Now why would anyone risk overstaying? As walter said plenty flights and airlines.

They gave plenty of time to get the hell out of thailand. That visa amnesty is basically you got until july 31 to get out.
