so why is the unemployment rate so high then ? I didn’t say the whole of Thailand relies on tourism, I said most likely the parts he will be coming to do, of course places up in places like Issan don’t rely on tourism but do you really think he’s planning on moving here to set up a shop in some Thai village ?

it’s obviously people who don’t live here that are saying we don’t need tourists. The average Thai won’t spend much money, even the local Thai business owners will agree with that.
