Pattaya is not representative of Thailand any more that Phuket....agree with Chiangmai, or Chiangrai, although chiangrai is more Myanmar refugees right now.

When I arrived 21 odd years ago , baht was 45 /US1.$, saw it go as low as 28 /US 1.$
