Not in a US corporation they are saying it can be mandated. Nothing can be done about foreign governments health and documentation requirements for crews entry.

What are the requirements for applying for a retirement visa (O-A) in Thailand, especially concerning medical insurance coverage?

You won’t get an O-A without one year of insurance/s purchased in advance. I had planned on a Jan 01 entry ended up about a week late stamped in to the original last day of insurance. It will be hand noted on your visa.

Some of these may be flying cargo only, example Druk Air. Nobody is getting into Bhutan except perhaps diplomats and medical, perhaps some flying out.
