This one thread encompasses and crystallizes the personality and behavior of this group. Because it’s a pretty young lady, it started out with completely uncharacteristically kind, supportive remarks. Then of course, being who we are – deteriorated into suggestions, criticisms, critiques, and downright insults, and all of those are because she is a pretty young lady.

It’s like I always say, not all, of course- but a lot of, mediocre ⚪️ men move to SE and fancy themselves gatekeepers and when they can’t lord their self perceived superiority over another westerner, the claws come out.

I don’t see why you would make that judgement, not knowing anything about me or my life experiences, but we all do it at times.

We can clutch our opinions and and prioritize maintaining them or we can pursue gathering information on the topic (not the messenger) if we have any interest in it. This is true anytime we are presented with ideas/info.

Perspectives change when we dive into the materials- if we have any interest in that perspective changing and make time to study.

You’re pretty neutral which is cool. It’s the aggressive rejection out of hand with the focus on who is sharing the idea, that is destructive. Not everyone we encounter says stuff they don’t actually know about, but that’s hard to remember in this time of everyone has a megaphone and is existing primarily from their ego. 💜 ✨

it wouldn’t happen in person because it’s not tolerated. You can’t walk into a room and slap a stranger and then if you’re taken to task about it, explain how he deserved it 🙄 When there’s no one at the helm, no bouncer, no stated expectations, no enforcer of basic parameters, no consequences- this is the society you end up with. The fact is, some people will be sure to anchor themselves to the spot so they can behave like that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just made sure someone I don’t need to ever interact with again has been denied access 🤣

In the past I’ve seen some comments and had some disturbing conversations with someone who is a white supremacist and it leaks out of their pores. I just can’t with such people, so I’ve learned it benefits me to not 😊 #Block
