So to confirm, I walk into a Consulate now and extend it for 30 days (though with that, I need a confirmed address?). Then, once that 30 days expires, I can leave and re-enter on a 30 day tourist Visa which can later be extended for a further 30 days?
....just confirming as I thought in Australia they only issue you with a 60 day tourist visa, or does that change because, even though I am Australian, entering from a country other than Australia dictates which Visa I am entitled to more so than the country on my passport?
Thank you for your advice. I am already here in Thailand though.... so yeah, think I might do as the others have suggested and extend my current Visa by 30 days and then do a border jump if need be to obtain another 30 days.
Thanks mate. I appreciate it. Re: my budget, I mentioned it because it's something I need to consider, for example, is cheaper doing a Visa/border trip to Myanmar as opposed to Laos.... and so on, so kind of was valid.
