 thanks a lot. The date one the letter is Oct 2nd and I will leave on Oct 1. So should all be good. I am off to Vientiane to change to Non-B to obtain work permit

 thanks. I have a letter like that. Did you need anything else? Does it take as long as visa extension? Like do I need to get up at 4am to get a number?
