Are there any language schools anywhere processing education visas for Cambodian nationals? I have gotten rejections everywhere for my Cambodian GF. I understand that there is a low intensity border conflict going on but Cambodians are not banned from entering Thailand. I need to find a long term option for my GF to stay in Thailand.

I keep reading mixed reports about Cambodians entering Thailand. Everything ranging from "Me and my GF flew to Bangkok last week" to what she experienced last week which was being turned around at the airport. They did not give any deportation stamps or any type markings on her passport. They stated had we traveled together and if she had a passport stamp or two, it would of helped a lot more.

That being said, I think I set her up for failure by having her fly alone (Young unaccompanied woman w/ no passport stamps from country w/ high risk of overstay/trafficking raises flags) and having an onward flight +45 days after arrival. Plus she forgot to print out the sponsorship letter. They were pretty courteous about turning her around, they said she needed to enter on a 'student visa' which is total bullshit as there is in fact, no options for student visas for Cambodians in Phuket or at least no new options.

So the new plan is to stay in Manila for about 10 days after Cambodia and re-enter via DMK. She'll have a passport stamp which shows compliance with immigration rules and so on and paints us as a 'couple traveling'. At a bare min, I need us both to get into Thailand and prepare to move as there may no easy path for her to get a 6-12 month visa in Thailand.

Hi Everyone, I'm in Austin Texas, USA and have already have flight booked from DFW to CNX on January 11th, 2026. I can cleanly show bank statements, a portfolio of clients and sales of IP assets.

Can you recommend a school or agent who can help me get a 5-year DTV Soft Power Visa in Chiang Mai?

I sent a formal inquiry letter to New Stamford Language School and followed up through Facebook, WhatsApp and LinkedIn but never heard back.

Hi guys, I know officially Language programs don't fall under DTV Soft Power category but does anyone know language schools in Bangkok that have "seminars" or "cultural programs" that qualify? Thanks a lot!

Do you guys have any suggestions for schools offering the ED visa for one year? For either Muy Thai or language learning?

I keep seeing Muay Thai gyms being used for the soft power route, but I have no interest in Muay Thai. What other options do I have? I suppose signing up for a regular gym or classes doesn't cut it because it doesn't teach Thai culture?

Hi guys, I’m planning a move to Thailand. I’m 25 and am looking to enter with the regular tourist visa and then continue to stay on an ED visa. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on schools or can tell me about their experience going this route.
