The discussion revolves around the challenges expats in Thailand face regarding visa extensions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants inquire about specific immigration offices, requests for letters from their home countries, and clarifications on eligibility for extensions based on their current visa status. The consensus is that only certain consulates (South Korea, China, Italy) are issuing letters for 30-day extensions, while others advise returning to the home country if no other options are available.

Okay, AT THIS TIME the only consulates that issue the request for a 30 day unable to travel covid-19 extension are South Korea, China and Italy.
The US, the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and others are saying IF you can't find a way to get a new visa or an extension on your own go back to your country, They are NOT offering the letter at this time.

But does this only apply to those who have out stayed their current visa and have no more options for extensions or have already done an extension and need an emergency extra one?.. I still have an extension left I can do.. Is this still possible

For this extension of stay based on the COVID-19 virus:
1. You can not be on overstay.
2. You *MUST* get the letter from the consulate.
3. You *MUST* have done your normal extension of stay.
doubt it since there are still flights going from Thailand to the UK. I was supposed to be doing a border run to Mae sai tomorrow but now they be said you need an evisa which takes a few days. Just don't know what to do

If Moroccan borders are closed completely then the embassy surely will give a letter. If they won't then you should ask them to provide route information
"...Other countries with which air travel is now suspended are Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chad, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Mali, Mauritania, Netherlands, Niger, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Senegal, Switzerland, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey and the UAE."
....
The answer is in your comment when all the flights to Morocco are from those 25 countries above
