TLDR : Answer Summary
The original end date for the COVID visa extension has been changed to May 24th, 2022.

End date changed to May 24th

do you know how long it takes to receive the extension please?

About 20-30 minutes. Total time depends on how many people in the queue before you. Usually you are given a “under consideration” stamp for anywhere from 5-30 days. You go back on the date stamped and get the remaining days.

thanks! So we are on a visa exemption, already extended once, and it expires May 16. If we go to get a covid extension, they give us a Under Consideration stamp and we must return for the covid extension? What happens if it takes longer than May 16?

nothing. The stamp allows you to stay. Sort of a “temporary allowed” stamp.

can we extend one more time before may 24th at muangtongtani?

MTT has closed. You’d need to visit IT Square Laksi Plaza from Monday 18th.
