Tourist visa extention.

I arrived on visa exemption (30days AUS Pass), I have just got a 30 day tourist visa extention stamp. I wish to stay for approx. 90 more days, can I just get 2 more 30 day tourist visa extentions?

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Answer summary

The user is currently on a 30-day tourist visa extension after entering Thailand on a visa exemption. They are seeking advice on whether they can obtain two additional 30-day extensions for a total stay of 90 more days. Comments suggest that amidst current COVID-19 policies, staying an extra 60 days may be feasible, although the user expresses confusion regarding the maximum number of extensions allowed per year. They consider the option of a temporary departure and return as an alternative.

Okay, I misunderstood the maximum 6 extentions per calendar year part mentioned on some websites.

So would attempting 60 day covid extension be the go? And if fails then fly out and back again next day? (with all the Thai pass fun again)

how long have you been in Thailand? Have you had any visas or did you enter visa exempt when you first entered this current time?

You can probably stay for 60 more days due to COVID, or more if they extend it. Might as well give it a ago, after your normal 30 day extension soon of stay.
