Is it still possible to obtain a COVID visa in Thailand without proof of onward flight?

Has anyone been able to get a COVID visa in the past few weeks? I've heard they aren't approving as many of them now. If so, did you need proof of onward flight? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent discussions indicate that while some immigration offices in Thailand may be hesitant to issue COVID visas, many are still processing them as usual. Some users reported successful applications without needing to provide proof of an onward flight, and the application deadline has been extended until July 25th. However, some expats expressed concerns about the documentation process and the need for follow-up visits.

Just did in Krabi last week. No problem. However we need to go there for a second stamp in a month. And they never gave us a recipe for the paiement so we are worried that we have to pay again on the next stamp.

Its always nerv wracking going to thr immigration.๐Ÿ˜…

They're still issuing them, no flight required.

Some offices are refusing to issue, but many are issuing the covid extension as normal. The last date for applying has just been extended until July 25th.
