TLDR : Answer Summary
The current status of the Covid visa application in Thailand indicates that applications are allowed until May 24th, with possible extensions at the discretion of the immigration officer. It is becoming increasingly challenging to obtain an extension without a letter from your embassy. If refused, individuals have seven days to leave the country.
It’s at the appreciation of the immigration officer and that seems more and more difficult without a letter from your Embassy. If you receive a refusal you will have 7 days to leave the country
I went there at the end of the last month with my visa expiring on 3 May and got a stamp 'under consideration' until 27 May. It might be or it might not be prolong after that.
