Hi, does anyone know of a Service in Bangkok that could assist me in getting our child's Thai Birth Certificate's English Translation "Certified" by the "Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs" in Bangkok?

I do not live in Bangkok and hope to not have to fly there just for this, Thank you

I've been here 20 years, always on visa based on work. Now doing renewal of permission to stay based on marriage to my Thai wife (at Phuket Immigration). My staff who are handling this tell me that I need to provide photos and documentation regarding my teenage daughter - but this seems odd; why does she come into the picture for a marriage visa? Do you know if this is, in fact, a genuine requirement? What if she were away, studying overseas, for example? How would I produce photos of her sitting in the living room with my wife and me???

Does anybody know if children need to be present when getting a notarized original birth certificate certified at an embassy?
