Has anyone experience with immigration response to this? I'm in Hua Hin. UK citizen about to apply for extension based on Thai dependent child. Immigration advised me to bring birth certificate, ID card of child, Taabian baan with child on it--no other proofs of parentage or dependency--also bring child 📷:) .

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen planning to apply for a visa extension based on their Thai dependent child in Hua Hin should prepare the birth certificate, the child's ID card, a Taabian baan showing the child as a resident, as well as a photo of the child. Some users also mention the necessity of additional documentation, including proof of dependency and possible home visit requirements.
nope, it takes the exact same documentation every year, photos of the child and you in front of the address sign at your place, inside the house, usually photos of them and you standing in front of the school they attend, map to your house, all the documentation showing you meet the financial requirements, have parental rights as a foreign father, copies of the passport, AND taking your child <- the reason you're getting the extension in the first place with you when you apply.
You'll get a 30 day under consideration stamp, they might come to your house and do an in home visit during that time, then you go back when that date is up and get the year extension inked into your passport
thanks guys--i have the kor ror 11 from the Ampur. I wanted to do that extension route rather than the marriage extension, as i thought it could be done in one fell swoop without the visit and photos etc
