What documents are required for applying for a Resident Return Visa (RRV) subclass 155/157 for a Thai partner, and is a separate application needed for their child?
Just question to those who have applied for Resident return visa (RRV) subclass 155/157 for their Thai partner
My wife’s RRV is about to expire in 2 weeks time and I contacted an Immigration agency and asked what documents would I require and they gave me a list of everything I needed as proof of tax, super, pics, passports, lease agreements etc to submit, I also asked a friend if they needed to submit the same when they applied and they said they weren’t required to submit any of that, they just submitted online and payed the fee and that was It and was granted an extra 5years
I’m confused, I just want to be prepared just in case I do need to submit extra documents once I payed also do I need to submit another application for her daughter who is 14y or it come under my wife’s application, I do realize I need to pay 2x
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author seeks clarification on the required documents for applying for a Resident Return Visa (RRV) subclass 155/157 for their Thai partner, as they received differing information from an immigration agency and a friend. They also inquire if they need to submit a separate application for their 14-year-old stepdaughter.
